So far the experience has been superb.
The Slim Wake Creator I bought is a fantastic aide to Wake surf. It is easy to install and increases the size of the Wave making the surfing experience a lot more fun . Highly recommend it !
My overall experience was flat hence the three stars and I would prefer not to publish it. I was using the 2.0 version wake creator and I saw virtually no difference between it and the H3X Plus. It was an expensive upgrade for an existing product I had. At this point I would exercise my Swell Promise 30 day money back guarantee. But I want to try it again because I am curious. It would be nice if Swell would reach out to me to work me through my experience. I have received great customer service all along and buy many Swell products.
Great Product. Works great on my 2012 Mastercraft x30. Great customer service.
I put this on my Mastercraft Maristar and it changed the whole boat. I of course needed about 2300 pounds of ballast but without the H3X plus I wouldn’t have done much with even double that weight. You can dial it in so easily by trial and error and after 25 minutes with no knowledge of how it works we were looking at a crest that was waist high. I had to switch it several times because different riders and it was dead simple. I like to put my finger tips just below the lip above the flat part of the hull and then start flipping the suction cups. Then you just flip the fin lever, reverse the setting for the other side and flip the lever back. 60 seconds and it can all be done from in the boat. The perspective of a wide angle iPhone lens doesn’t do the wave justice but it’s got a ton of push for an amateur to figure out. Kids who won’t ski were surfing just fine. It never fell off but I can attest that it does float so I wouldn’t be worried if it did. I didn’t do anything special to the boat beyond a sponge and some mild soap which was also done in water
