I bought the Swell Wakesurf a few months ago. I've used it a whole bunch, and it's truly a great product. It doesn't fall off, and it mounts and dismounts in seconds. The wake cleaned up so nice, and we ride without a rope in only six feet of water. I have a 2003 Malibu VLX with two 750s in the rear lockers, a 250 in the belly, and two 155 lb. Fatsac Bricks with handles that can be moved around. I give the Swell Wakesurf unit a 5 out of 5!
Wow.... I wasn't sure that this product would actually work and hadn't seen a lot of other reviews even on the companies website. But honestly this is a game changer if you love surfing. We have a 2002 Mastercraft X-Star. It is a great boat but was never designed to be a "surf boat" So inevitably trying to get the wake perfect for surfing involves moving people around, filling ballast tanks, driving around in circles, moving people around some more etc. Overall a giant hassle and you end up with an okay to mediocre wake for surfing. Simply attaching the swell wakesurf creator to the bottom of you boat on the opposite side you want to surf makes a huge difference. You might have to adjust the Swell either farther forward or back according to your boat. For ours it worked best moving it about 2-3 feet forward from the back of the boat.
Here is what's on our minds.
